1995 Warre Cavadinha

WC95, at D+8h, on Thu 05 May 2022. Dark dark red, 90% opaque, and, my-oh-my, excellent. Dark plums, blackcurrants, rich sweet softness, touch of aniseed early palate. Late palate becomes dry, grippingly so. So young.
In a blind head-to-head with F85, it might lose by a majority vote, but a substantial minority would prefer WC95. Perhaps including me. And on some days it would win.
Bad news, twice. I have only five more. And wine-searcher says that there are none for sale in the UK.
This delicious WC95 inspired me to arrange a Warre Cavadinha vertical.
