1927 Croft

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled by Sarson & Son. Mature red - almost the same colour as the Cockburn 1960 drunk yesterday! 50% opaque. Complex, slightly dirty fruit, canned red fruit salad. Rich fruit on the palate, candied cherry, a little cracked pepper. Smooth, sweet slightly jellied redcurrant. Absolutely delicious. 97/100. Drunk 27-Sep-21. Decanted 8 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
