Attractive mature brick red colour. Initially (after 1 hour) this was showing just a little VA on the nose but at the time of tasting (3 hours) this had cleared up to yield an attractive spiced dried red fruit, a combination which is both rich and attractive. Balanced entry with sweet candied cherry on the palate, elegant and beautifully spiced. Lovely warm cinnamon and cherry finish. Delicious and at the peak of maturity. 90/100. Decanted 3 hours. Tasted 25-Nov-2021.
