Passion fruit on the nose.

I veered between finding it pleasant and thinking it was slightly odd.

45% opacity, light red. Gentle red fruit on the nose. Thin, red fruit, but one-dimensional.

Medium mature brick-red colour, 80% opaque. A lovely nose of mandarin and red currant. An attractive palate, medium weight with the redcurrant dominating. Hints of tannins but with a fine balance. Elegant and fragrant on the aftertaste with a sweet and floral finish. Nice length. This is a delicious albeit gentle wine; perhaps a decanted for a few hours too long. 91/100. 16-Nov-21. Decanted 9 hours.
