Dar red mahogany in colour, 50% opaque. Spiced sweet cherry compote on the nose. Smooth and sweet on the palate, slightly thick in texture with generous red cherry fruit dusted with hints of coriander. A big flash of the coriander on the aftertaste before the concentrated sweet cherry comes back. This is an absolutely stunning glass of Port, sweet, balanced and huge; a Port which is still not fully mature but is certainly rich and drinking well at the moment. This was my wine of the night and the choice of the group of six of us as the wine of the night being the first choice of 4 and the second choice of 2 of the people present. 95/100. Drunk 10-May-21. Decanted 5 hours.
