1990 Graham Single Harvest Tawny (bottled 2020)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A jeroboam filled in 2020 and labelled as bottle 86 from cask 1. Sold by the glass at the 1857 Bar @ £28 for a 125ml pour. This was the last but one glass from the bottle which had been open for a while. A rich orange colour, 50% opaque. Soft on the nose, hazel nuts and intense kumquat orange; showing nicely in the glass. Rich and thickened texture on the palate. Warm and enveloping providing a wonderful feeling of comfort. orange oil spreads everywhere, intense yet balanced with a lovely hint of bitterness at the centre of the palate. Thick and sticky crepe suzette orange aftertaste with an intense and concentrated finish. What lovely, serious Port. 94/100. Drunk 02-Nov-21.
