This arrived in the post today from Justin. I do remember him saying he would send me a sample of something, but I do not remember what it is. It is a very nice tawny color and has been placed in the refrigerator to cool.
Without revealing what it is, should I give it time to settle down from any travel shock? Or is it fine to go ahead and taste it this weekend?
I will post a tasting note here, after which Justin can reveal what it is!

I know what it is. Let it rest. Have it on Sunday. Enjoy.

Re: Mystery package
I don't think it's a sample of the Noval Nacional 2019
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Re: Mystery package
My lips are sealed (but a nice glass of Port might fix that)
Re: Mystery package
On second thoughts, Glenn you could keep it till the 26th as it qualifies as Port you got for a steal as in for nothing Enjoy.
Re: Mystery package
Sunday ended up being rather crazy, so no Port was consumed. I now plan to keep the bottle in the fridge until the 26th and drink it during the Virtual Tasting!
