A clear light brown.

Muted nose of sultanas.

Pleasant palate of crazy jack's (unsulphured) apricots.

A bit short on the finish.

Decent but suffered rather from its company, I think (including the other Blandy's wine shown). Apparently might have contained some estufagem wines.

One of the samples discussed as part of the Madeira Masterclass of the Big Fortified Tasting, presented by Rubina Viera from the IVBAM on Thursday 29th April 2021.

(It should be noted that Rubina deprecated her limited command of English, having presented (in admirable and entirely intelligible English) for an hour and a half; a slightly shaming moment for those of us whose Portuguese is limited to basic wine terminology.)
