A2: Deep, concentrated nose. Amazing palate density-concentration with balance. Warming, clean fruit driven finish. Citrus top notes developing. Sweetness aligned to fresh acid and underlying tannic structure. Excellent+ (Grahams)

Lovely red berries and dark cherries, lots of tannic structure, nicely balanced. Not extremely complex but reasonably so - not quite hitting the heights of the Stone Terraces. V good to excellent

(sighted tasting) Deep purple, Restrained nose, blackcurrant – intense flavour on the palate slightly backward at this stage in its evolution. Resolved tannins and good balance, Expressive finish full of flavour. 94.

Deep purple. Fresh and intense nose of black cherry, freshly-cut black grape, jammy blackberry, cocoa, pepper, violets, rock rose and perfume. The palate is filled with black forest fruit, spice and balsamic notes. The sweetness, alcohol, acidity and high but soft tannins are superbly balanced. The finish is very long, flavoursome and spicy. A complex and intense Graham's. 18.5/20

Tasted blind. Deep red with a purple hint. Big and fat on the nose, but not as attractive as the Stone Terraces shown alongside. Dirty fruit on the palate, sweet and tannic but something not quite right with hints of blue cheese. Lingering bruised blueberry on the finish. I did not like this Port. 84-86/100.

When revealed, it was clear that both this bottle and the Stone Terraces must have been damaged in some way.
