1977 Cockburn (recorked)
Tasting notes:

Note: on the evening, we opened what was expected to be a 1935 Cockburn and discovered it to be a 1950 Cockburn, hence two entries for 1950 Cockburn in the tasting notes.

One of the bottles released by SFE after their acquisition of Cockburn. Mature brick-red colour, 50% opaque. Bruised fruit on the nose, sweet but also fruity. Soft fruit on the entry with sweet raspberry and some tannins on the mid-palate; lovely mouth filling flavours with plenty of fruit and a good, fresh acidity. This was fresher to my palate than the bottles released in 2007. 90/100.
