Tasting notes:
Note: on the evening, we opened what was expected to be a 1935 Cockburn and discovered it to be a 1950 Cockburn, hence two entries for 1950 Cockburn in the tasting notes.

20% brown orange. Lovely soft strawberries. Delicate, strawberries, nicely balanced, dry finish.

Light brick-red colour; 40% opaque. Soft fragrant nose, gentle red fruit with plenty of acidity promised. A lovely texture on the palate with flavours that are rich and powerful, mixing golden syrup with citrus acidity. The aftertaste is wonderfully flavoursome but with a little heat showing. The finish lingers nicely with a good fragrance. Overall this is slightly lacking acidity and a little simple. I have had much better bottles. 85/100.
