Tasting notes:

Note: on the evening, we opened what was expected to be a 1935 Cockburn and discovered it to be a 1950 Cockburn, hence two entries for 1950 Cockburn in the tasting notes.

20% opacity, brown orange. Not much on the nose, extracted citrus. Good mouthfeel, structured, concentrated extracted citrus fruit, bitterness, gentle acidity.

"Crusted" Port. Slightly brown in tone with a green hint to the rim; 30% opaque. Modest nose that is quite fresh and floral but still with plenty of fruit. Nice body with a good smooth texture. Sweet brown sugar with crystallised citrus fruit and hints of tobacco; nice flavours with a good interplay and a lovely freshness to the palate. A little heat on the aftertaste but with a layer of lovely cinder toffee and orange marmalade. Very nice, but unfortunately fell apart over the course of the evening. 94/100.
