I know that we had this topic before, but I would like to have a list with the producers and the fact wether they are producing filtered, unfiltered LBVs or both (maybe with an extra remarks section such as: "Warre holds back its LBVs until ready to drink" or "Niepoort has not marked that its an unfiltered LBV).

Any comments or hints very welcome. Please use the format:

Producer: Grahams
filtered LBV only
very fruity LBV

Producer: Noval
filtered and unfiltered LBV (says on the bottle)
very good and rich LBV, especially the traditional

Producer: Niepoort
unfiltered LBV only
no remarks

I will issue the summary, when ready

Axel - I don't drink enough LBV to be able to say whether a particular producer only makes one style or another, so my comments below are based on what I have seen.

tend to release the filtered LBV 2-3 years before the unfiltered

You have obviously forgotten about those bottles of Croft Bottle Matured LBV 2002 that I am holding for you

Burmester and Kopke make Unfiltered LBV's and I am sure I once had a Sandeman unfiltered LBV in Italy.
