Or any kind of alcohol for that matter.

I caught the stomach bug on saturday and couldn't drink any form of alcohol since!!!

I'm miserable.... even the Cockburn ruby would probably taste so good now.

Ooh. Get better soon. That stomach bug is a bit brutal.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

g-man,

Stop being a girl.

As Michael Douglas said in Wall Street "Stomach Bugs are for wimps" (or was it "stomach upsets"?)

Either way, drink port like a man and you will start to feel better instantly.

Since 1982, three weeks is the longest without any Port. It has happened every September since 2002 and hopefully this will be the last time. Before 2002, nary a week in 20 years.

That's the spirit - don't let it beat you

Roy, that's some amount of Port

Are you hoping to give up your annual nightmare?

I did the forty days of Lent last year, followed up by the Birmingham off-line. I didn't fall asleep...

... Derek?

Derek,

I'll probably do it again in 2008, but that will be it. Six years of doing so has certainly cost me a year or two off the end of my life. :(
The bright side is that in 2009, I won't have to stop drinking Port for 3 weeks.
