Is it the probability percentage of the bottle not being corked if the bottle has been re-corked fifty-one times or forty-seven times, approximately?

The current draft of The Book wrote:De Nederlandse Wijnkoperij, of Amsterdam, Nijmegen, and 's-Hertogenbosch, in July 1962, lists “Porto Andresen Vintage 1945” at ƒ7,20 in the “Handel” column (≈ wholesale) and ƒ9,25 in “Part.” (= ‘Particulier’ ≈ retail).
Ian’s question.

Wholesale - Retail is not quite the same as Case - Individual. Not that I want to be question master again!

I don't disagree but the QM is always right!

Ok, I was looking forward last weekend to opening a bottle of VP (having gone Port-less for a couple of weeks) only to find much to my chagrin, that the bottle was riddled with TCA/VA (I never know which one-the 'woody' one). What was the offending bottle (which I will also put into the 'name and shame' on the Forum once revealed)? [clue-it's not D77!].

As you have been portless for a while, I am going to guess you opened a good vintage... a 1970 perhaps, and that it was an... Offley 70?

To help it is a vintage I know well, but it is the first bottle from this producer I have ever opened.

I have been watching tv and skijumping from Vikersund in Norway. The new world record is now (252m, no scrap that) 253,5m. That is with only a pair of skis and a steep hill to help you fly!

Quinta de la Rosa 2004 LBV?

Which is so obviously the answer that I’m tempted just to charge into my question.

A few copies of Port Vintages were printed, as a draft. Numerous small improvements have since been found. And one large improvement: an index, or more accurately several indexes, were needed, and have been added. So in the Microsoft Word file have been added many ‘index this’ { XE … } entries. As of now, how many?
