So, DaveRL got the correct town, Duruelo de la Sierra, the town near the start of the Douro river, and Doggett got the first link correct, the Douro river (without which there would be no Douro valley, no port wine and hence no port fora).
What is the second link between Oporto and Duruelo de la Sierra?

He he, no it is not.
Due to an engagement with a surgeon tomorrow, I will be away for some time.
The answer will be posted early tomorrow morning, if no correct answer by then.
DaveRL and Doggett will then have to fight it out for who is to post a new question.

Correct second link makes it two out of three for DaveRL, who will make the next quiz.

Slight delay. I was casting around for a suitable subject. I'm reading an account of a significant military battle. It is named after its location. What is the name?

Yes and that's without the wildlife to contend with eg saltwater crocs!
Anyhow, my question. I don't go to many concerts these days but who am I due to see in June for the first time since 1985?

It wasn't... But the next time the list is done, that will obviously be a serious contender for the top spot.
It is quite a unique style/winery/brand, and the wine maker has famously discussed this particular vintage.
