In the UK, consumers who want something a bit better than reserve go for an LBV, so I suspect this would be a difficult sell here.
Moreover, the $40 price tag (allowing for the transatlantic uplift) puts this on the same bench as Crusted - a style that has never kicked off, Stateside..

Why do you think Crusted has never kicked off in the US ? Your American cousins like to drink their VP young, so one might think that they would like Crusted too.
