You'll be pleased to know that the law in England is much more in favour of post-tasting cycling expedition...points and forced walking are pretty unlikely and the police are unable to breathalyse you so as long as you can cycle in a straight line you should be ok...

I'm sure there's an offence of being drunk in charge of a bicycle, but that may have been something that disappeared some years ago.
