Michael (Bertie3000) is tied up with some family commitments, so I'm helping with organisation.
Expect to see direct messages from me today via the Forum or WhatsApp.

OK - Michael is unable to attend tomorrow evening , so Nigel is promoted from the bench.
Assuming logistics work, Michael is very kindly arranging to still provide his bottles.
In terms of decanting, my plan is to decant the 45 and Flash_UK's 80 & 85 early tomorrow morning. They'll get a couple of hours in the decanter before going back into the bottle and then kept chilled. Am also aware that some of the older bottles are going to be decanted at the B&F. Do whatever you think is right!

The 83 and 97 both double decanted at 1pm today. The 34 was double decanted at 4pm, not long before I set off. Taste test suggested all ok with the 34 and 97. Maybe a question mark over the 83. All now being transported chilled with an ETA of just before 6pm.

That was a lot of fun, and a great shame that Michael M couldn't join us. Particularly when his RP55 was the clear winner on the night.
Tony provided the 82 gratis, so many thanks to him for that.
I've sorted out the accounts and will WhatsApp people individually re amounts owed. If you don't have my bank details then message my back.
On checking the bill properly found that we'd been overcharged by about £95. B&F have agreed this and it will be knocked off the next bill (although I've paid it, so I need to remember that...)

Also, no bottle equalisation costs last night. Those supplying rarer bottles did so at £0.
Thank you all for your generosity.

Which is extremely generous, and much appreciated. Thank you to everyone for their contributions, and an excellent, enjoyable evening. The '55 was gorgeous, and the '26 I thought was great - free only wine of this vintage that I have tasted, and the #2 WOTN for both me and the group, great that we were able to include this. Major thanks also to Michael.

Ludicrous. Thank you very much.

Thanks you to Michael and to Neil for organising. And very big thanks to the special bottle contributors, supremely generous of you, and much appreciated.

Does someone have the score sheet that they can post?

To echo @flash_uk - many acts of generosity involved in the provision of these startling rarities, gratis and for nothing, probably more new-to-me ports than I have ever before tasted in a single night. So, thank you.
