I'm aiming to get there at 1700.
Will ask for starters at 1900 and mains at 1930.

Bottles were un-T-stoppered at 0915-0930 this morning. Will be left open until 1530ish and then going to be chilled for an hour before I leave for B&F.

Gents

Many thanks to all who attended this evening and made this such a good tasting.

If you were one of the very few that took away nearly empty bottles, could you please rinse out and return to the B&F as we've identified a suitable location to display the full range.

For those who attended, the handouts had a couple of cut & paste errors for provenance.

For the Golden Age 50 YO, should have read "Retail purchase from The Whisky Exchange in September 2022, £179/bt"

For the 1971, should have read "Purchased from Seckfords, March 2022, £175/bt"

If anyone wants a corrected copy, let me know and I'll email a PDF.

At this point, since there is not a review thread, I am going to use this thread to say, ‘well that really was jolly interesting, and thank you Neil for your remarkable curation of this event’. The worst port there was really quite good, and the best port there was really very good, which we decided, in 100 point terms, meant all of it was between 88 and 96 points…
