Skylark? In the evening? I'm so staid even the skylarks have more of an evening life than me. Good question though.

Re: One quiz at a time
Yes, part of my Saturday night consisted of wandering the gloaming of the Somerset levels, not exactly the rock and roll lifestyle either. But if you went this weekend you might be able to hear the strains of Dolly Parton at Glastonbury in the distance. I hear she got the nine to five slot. *bows*PopulusTremula wrote:Skylark? OK next question then. The other day as I came out of the gym near home, a well-known journalist happened to be walking past. Who was it?

He seems to get around, and isn't a stranger to a gym! Though that guess is primarily spurred by my lack of knowledge of European news folks.flash_uk wrote:Nope - he'd be far from home if he was wandering around where I live!CaliforniaBrad wrote:Anderson cooper

Re: One quiz at a time
Nope to all of the above-although the last mentioned is clearly integral to my education! And I've obviously been waxing too much about (the late lamented ) Krohn (we should a wake). Clue: it wasn't in this country.

Quinta do Malvedos, round the back, where they keep the brandy.
Re: One quiz at a time
You are correct. Google lists the address as "St. James Street" but then displays it on the map as "St. James's Street".DRT wrote:I think you will find it is 3 St. James's Street.Glenn E. wrote:I believe you are off by 2. The address in question is:DRT wrote:1 St James's?

BBR's website says St. James's Street, though, so I'll take that as final authority.

The final authority is surely Westminster City Council who put up the street signs...Glenn E. wrote:BBR's website says St. James's Street, though, so I'll take that as final authority.
