You start wearing a Tweed jacket, which reminds you of Berwick-on-Tweed?

Close with socks (but not green), or with green (but not socks) or geographically with Lincoln?
You are close with the item which one normaly wears between the feet and the shoes.
Now, what is the connection to an English city, if it's neither the colour nor the place where it is produced nor the design which is traditionally associated with a certain city.

When I already have anything that I could possibly want or wish for (like world peace or a cure against cancer), then, and only then, would Iput a pair of tweed Christmas socks from the Isle of Harris on my otherwise empty wish list for christmas.

One quiz at a time

Socks. Stockings. Christmas stockings. I'm searching for a connection here. Are the socks knitted in Manchester? Is Manchester known as Sock City in Germany?

EDIT: sorry you already said it's not the place where they're produced. I'm at a loss.

Perhaps he starts wearing thicker socks, made from wool, reminding him of Woolwich? (though I don't think that's a city, so perhaps somewhere else that wool comes from?)

Daniel, you are right about the socks. Now what is the connection between the socks and the English city? It's a rather arbitrary connection I (and the producer) have to concede.

Now you should make a general statement about the connection between the city and the socks. (And by the way, the city is not London and although we're close the christmas, the socks do not have to do anything with this religious festival. I do wear socks all year long :) )

Daniel, I can only repeat myself. You were 1mm close to the first part of the answer.
As for the second part: no to all the cities mentioned abvove.
So here is a clue: the city has two Football League clubs.

As most question seem revolve around recent goings on then I shall follow that theme. I hope this works

Recently I was inspecting some .raw files of photos I had taken to check if any were worthy of being printed. Attached is a small section of one of the photos that (just) passed the test.

The question is "What is the subject matter of the photograph"
question?
question?

Is the pic meant to pixellated or this an effect of the tiny file size?

Hope this doesnt count as a quiz question.

It is a small section of a photo that has been enlarged, as for the pixelated affect, It appears OK o the laptop I have just used to prepare it.

Again, apologies if it hasn't worked. I will forfeit my right to question if that is the case.
