Below, two pictures from the same bottle spied in Inverness Airport.

So one starts with some PX sherry, presumably 20% ABV. One adds some single malt, presumably ≥40% ABV. And the end result is a drink at 19% ABV

I can buy EWC 40% spirit in the farm shop near my house. Want some?

I think PX is lower (15-18%?), so theoretically could be possible so long as only a little whisky is added.jdaw1 wrote:So one starts with some PX sherry, presumably 20% ABV.

Great work team the puzzle explained. Thank you.

I don't like whiskey. I do like Pedro Ximenez 'nectar' sherry (liquid Xmas pudding I described it as.). I do like blackberry whiskey - blackberries and sugar soaked in whiskey for 3 months or so. Perhaps I would like the whiskey / sherry blend too?! Must keep a look out for this!

Take one for the team. Phone the company, have one sent. report back. If the minimum quantity is two then I’ll have the other.benread wrote:I don't like whiskey.
