It also turned up the artwork of Raymond Campbell, who frequently paints still-life's that include Port. He's somewhere in the UK, anyone reached out?

I acquired one of the Graham verticals during the most recent FTLOP purchasing opportunity. The price was high, but the bottles were all purchased on release and kept in the cellar at a California winery for their entire lives so I thought... just this once... I'll overpay for known good storage.

14 bottles, starting with '63 and ending with '07.

So all you need now is 4 or 5 volunteers to fly to Seattle to help you quality assure your purchase?

If that happens, I would be pleased to open my vertical. Keep me apprised of travel plans.

Note that you're still on the hook for the 1985 horizontal in '15. I have 23 bottles ready for that and know of another contributor who can expand it by 3 (at last check), so it's going to be an epic gathering even if some of the Ports are not quite as epic.

Yeah right, getting them to this side of the pond is near impossible.....yes, I'm making fun of you all, now get your arses to this side of the pond as I and many others got lots of Port I need to share that is waiting for you all to get here.

jan 2012 1 bottle Croft 1935, 1bottle Taylors 1945, 1 bottle SmithWoodhouse1983 and 1 unknown bottle with cork 1/2 inch into neck(later identified as Warres 1958 from cork and not drinkable) all for £100 + buyers premium from local auction.
Feb 2012 not a buy but got bottle Coop lbv and set of Marks and Spencers miniatures as part of 50th from work colleagues.

Great deal in Tesco today Croft unfiltered lbv 1/2 bottles reduced from £8.29 to £4.20 but went through till at full price, when I went to customer services they refunded twice the difference! Pity my basket was overflowing as I could have had another 8.

Must admit to being quite pleased. They said the offer had ended but someone must have forgotten to take it off shelf so as it was still advertised at that price and they advertise that they will refund twice difference if they overcharge they had no option but to give refund.
