Parker's Vintage Chart

Not that we have to agree with everything he says but it's a useful thing so I'm sticking a link in, I'm sure he won't mind:

from the man who admits to the last Vintage Port he has bought was the 1977 on release! He also has never set foot in the Douro either, quite surprising when he is considered the most iconic wine reviewer of our time.

 Figured that

The guide is interesting and many of the years are "NV" or seem to have fairly low overall scores. 2000 and 1994 are a couple of examples at "92T" each and 2003 was "90T."

1985 is a "95E", now while a general declaration and there are some nice bottles, there aren't many that are that high in score from this vintage save a handful. Yet 1994, 2000, and 2003 had far more top scores than 1985 and they got a lower overall score.

My favorite of all.... 1970 at a "90R"

Thanks for posting the link, it's always a bit of fun to look at these vintage charts and chuckle.
