Bring a bottle wrapped in foil Tuesday 16th June

Post by Christopher »

It’s been ages since I have done a blind tasting, we used to do more of these.
Anyway aiming to do early June.
I think we will go for a Vintage Port from a classic vintage between 1960 and 1985 so it’s a bit less open to totally left field bottles
Anyone interested?
Thus has now been provisionally booked for Tuesday 16th June. I have the Red Room reserved so can do up to 14

Definitely interested. Probably needs to be a week or so either side of RP tasting on Tuesday 9 June. Note one of England’s World Cup matches is on Tuesday 23 June

I love this theme. Subject to the date, I’m in.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
