Yes please.

No ideas for a theme unless we want to do something radical like white port (given the impending alleged arrival of summer at that point of the year).

Yes, yes, yes! Port with a 6 at the end perhaps but not ‘66?

Is this still on for next week? If so, how about a theme of VP's that are 15 years old or less? It would be interesting to see how more recent, younger Ports are doing similar to the 2011 tasting you all had in the UK the other day.

We're still on for next Thursday. We were chatting about this tasting as we left the 2011 event.

I'm happy to go with the theme of Young VP (15 years or less). I might pull out a half of Skeffington 2011 for the evening.

I've updated the list of people interested on the first post but Neil might appreciate confirmation from those who expressed an early interest.

@neil - do we want to use Zoom (which I can't help with as I only have the free account)? I think the alternative of MS Teams is still free if we want to switch over to that. Or we could try using WhatsApp - which I've used successfully for small conference calls of up to 4 people.

(not Neil, but I can provide zoom invite if wanted; I believe Neil may have a paid account also now)

I, too, have prepared for #3. It proved rather difficult, as most VP that I own that is 15 years old or younger is scheduled for some specific event. The only options that I could find were 3 x 2011 Fonseca and a 2013 Quevedo Vale D'Agodinho (375 ml), which I opened.

I did open a M&S 2011 this morning at 7.30 before I went out to work but got home at 10.00 tonight and went straight to bed with a cup of Earl Grey (NV), shattered. Will enjoy the Port over the “we’ll keep the red flag flying” weekend. Good night and May your Gods go with you.
