A7: A good density to the fruity nose aligned to some spirity sweetness. Silky black fruit in character. A velvety fruit driven palate. Tannins well hidden and good acidic bite to balance the long finish. Excellent, with good future ahead. {Portal}

Easy drinking, lighter fruits and not much depth to it but enjoyable nonetheless. Light to medium levels of tannins. Good

(tasted sighted) Deep inky purple, strong nose of blackcurrant and black fruit. Black pepper and a slight tar. Very dry on the palate and slightly out of balance and tannic. Kick of pepper in the aftertaste. Reminds me of a more traditional style which will develop nicely over time. 89+

Spice and black fruit, coffee beans and pepper, with medicinal notes and big, grippy tannins. Finishes medium+ and hence did not score this higher. 16/20

Tasted blind. Deep purple in colour, looking to be a well extracted wne. Deep fruits of the forest on the nose, sweet and wonderfully fragrant. The palate delivers dense fruit, fruit which is sweet and so ripe with fat blueberries and ripe, fine tannins. The aftertaste is wonderful. This is an amazing young Port. 95-97/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
