Saturday 26th of July Newport or Audley End

Post by WS1 »

Anyone interested to join Tom and me for a glass of port in the White Horse in Newport or the Bell in Audley End saturday 26th of July? No real theme but bring a good bt of port to be drunk in the country side in good company will do. Start likely 1-2 PM in the afternoon

Attendees:
WS1
THRA

venue decision taken closer to the event. Neither Tom or me have been at the Bell for quite a while, hence the interest to go back.

As much as I would love to, I am unfortunately not around that weekend. If I had been in the UK, I would be there.

Sorry.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

I don't think I can make it sadly...port on a relaxing Summer's afternoon sounds perfect!

On a different note - Wolfgang...does this present an opportunity to get your bottles for the 1970 horizontal delivered, if only as far as Tom at this stage? I want to get the bottles well in advance and give them a while to rest...may not be many oither opportunities before September. Let me know!
