Hi could I have the avocado and the vegan bangers and mash please.

Neil - please let me know if you would prefer me to buy a bottle of 2000 instead of adopting as I can see you are down for quite a few. It will not be a problem but I just have no bottles at home at the moment.

Draft of the placemats, pictures of which have been added to the first post.

• Adoptions missing.
• I have guessed that “QdP” = Ps. If wrong, please instruct.

Of course, please check carefully.

If I were to point at the horizon, exclaim loudly, and while you folk were distracted naughtily to sneak in a Sandeman Vau and a Portal, and then to look innocently at the horizon just like everybody else, would I get away with it?

If I had two extra bottles of port appear every time someone shouted "Look, a squirrel", I'd (a) be a very happy man, and (b) have employed a squirrel spotter years ago.

Alex M’s unavailability means we are 13, five of whom will be adopting from nac, but nac is currently providing six wines for adoptions. We either need another person, or we need to take a wine out I think (given Julian’s and my already enthusiastic oversupply).

BTW, I love our philosophy.

• We have too many bottles. Must add a person.

Person added, so…

• Hurray, we can add more bottles!

George, so that TN threads can be made, please say when list of Ports is finalised (currently nineteen of them, being T, F, Cr, W, G, V, GC, QH, SW, Mz, Ck, TTD, Ni, NiS, Pt, S, SV, Os, Ps). I have bottle pictures for three of those threads (Pt, S, SV).

I will drop my ports off at the B&F this week and ask that they be opened and decanted on the morning of the tasting. If you are travelling with your port, then opening and double decanting the night before should offer a similar experience.

I could do so the night before, or in the morning, or Audouze at the two times. Which preferred?

Neil, if Harry can't make it, remove Mz and QH and I will remove TTD. 16 enough for 13. If Harry can make it then keep Mz in and I will keep TTD in. (I suspect the TTD is QH-adjacent hence that way round.)

My bottles are travelling to London on Saturday, but I won't be able to open them until Monday morning.
They'll be decanted then and left out until mid-afternoon when they'll go back into the bottles. So, should hopefully be similar to George's bottles.

Missing are: Rob C. and Harry H. (menu).

Please could the QH and the “QH-adjacent” (good term) TTD be treated as a pair, ideally both in. The comparison would be of interest.
