NV Graham Six Grapes

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Graham Six Grapes, from BA’s South Club Lounge in Heathrow Terminal 5. Deep red, almost scarlet. Opaque with a narrow rim. Floral strawberry fruit on the nose, pleasant and inviting. The fruit leads on the palate, very capably supported by the right level of acidity and a faint dusting of tannins. The three work together in a nice harmony until suddenly you find the wine being swallowed! Menthol heat surges forward on the aftertaste, but once this settles there is a long and enjoyable dark chocolate and sour cherry finish. A reliably enjoyable Reserve Ruby. 88/100. Drunk 18-Aug-2024.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
