Fonseca and Vesuvio both opened last night about 19.00, decanted this morning at 09.00 and will be returned to their bottles around 13.00 before I head into town.
I’ll aim to be at the B&F around 17.00 but might be half an hour earlier.

I look forward to everyone's notes! We are doing a significant horizontal of 1994 the first week of August. Probably 26 bottles over 2 sessions. We have, I think, 30 or 32 bottles available but some just aren't worth including.

The Niepoort Petre is decent. I haven't had the regular Niepoort but I know there were issues. Sounds like a fun tasting.Glenn E. wrote: ↑21:48 Wed 27 Mar 2024Currently not included:

For my palate the Broadbent is the weakest of the 4, but all 4 can be good Ports if they're clean.Mike J. W. wrote: ↑14:32 Thu 28 Mar 2024The Niepoort Petre is decent.
