1975 Chiltern Valley Syrah

To record tasting notes and thoughts on fortified wines we might try which do not come from the demarcated region of the Douro Valley

Huge perfume, some roughness. Weird. Thought not Port.

Deep dark red. Super sweet.

Shouldn't this be in the "Other Fortified Wines" section?

Or "Other Wines", I'm not sure if this is fortified or not.

Good spot, thank you. Moved as suggested - it was fortified Shiraz.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
