Available by the glass from the Oxford & Cambridge Club, now priced at £12.50 per glass. Mature ruby red with a medium rim and an opaque centre. Fresh raspberry nose, with a twist of cranberry - fruity but slightly sharp. The cranberry and raspberry mix flows onto the palate, fresh and full of fruit. Marked acidity rolls around the mouth, keeping the wine fresh and very bright. A little menthol heat on the aftertaste, dark chocolate lurking underneath a sour passion fruit coulis. Long, lingering and delicious aniseed finish. Such a delicious wine! 92/100. Drunk 07-Feb-23.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
