1974 Quevedo Colheita (bottled 2013)

A freshly opened bottle from the Port Society stocks at the White Horse in Newport, Essex. Bottled 2013. Much fresher on the nose and palate than the bottle open for an unknown amount of time. Showing cinder toffee and gently burnt sugar. Dried fruit and citrus oil on the aftertaste and finish. Thoroughly nice. 88/100. Tasted 15-Dec-22. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports.
