The colour is a surprisingly deep brown in the middle fading to an amber at the edge.
Terrible glasses so limited impressions on the nose. Some orange. Some sugar. Probably better with better glasses.
In the mouth, I'm really struck by the pronounced oranges. Not much fresh fruit or tannins but decent acidity balances out the sugar to give a serious, dry sensation. The aftertaste is decent but not overly long. Again, not much in the way of fruit, caramel or caramelised fruit but enjoyable gentle tawny sensation.
