NV Quinta de Val da Figueira Tawny 10YO

Bottling date not know but certainly bottled before 2003. A slight haziness to the brick red colour of the wine. Walnuts and beeswax on the nose, rich and inviting. Nice texture on the palate with a good balance; good acidity balancing a fragrant and perfumed honey; nice bitter-sweet walnut and a big lemon oil on the late palate. Great aftertaste and finish full of honey, lemon oil and nuts showing the depth and power of the older wines used in the blend. Delicious. 91/100. Drunk 21-May-22. Opened for 1 day.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
