2020 Quevedo

Post by akzy »

Tasted at BFT 2022 +24hours thanks to a kind donation from Oscar.

Do you like young Quevedo VP? Well this is certainly more of the same (and I mean that in a very good way). Claudia has certainly made a clear style that is easy to see in this VP.
The slight acrid rubber on the nose with the sweet blackcurrants mingling alongside. The mouth is the typical tannic goliath that coats and grips the mouth with the raspberries and blackcurrants.

On the day I tried this against the 2019 VP. I preferred the 2020. Others preferred the 2019. Take that for what you will.

A very good Port that has the clear signs of something that will last.
