Big nose of plum and licorice. Sense of there being tarry substrate.
Bright but dark fruit on front palate, descending to rich molasses and agen prune quite quickly.
Full rich wine only slowly drying on the finish. There is a savoury quality that is very attractive. Date rather than raisin.
This is very impressive.
Partner posits a question. Are Quevedo's colheita ports their best ports? She may have a point.
