Really very dark, almost entirely opaque.

Slightly rubbery nose.

On the palate cool blue fruit and then quite a hot finish.

I left it alone for a couple of hours and then came back to it, at which point it was pretty good.

75% opcaity, dark red, slightly cloudy. Nose very open, soft red jammy fruit. Rich and complex in the mouth, strawberries, quite soft.

Bit of a funky nose. A lovely note of vanilla with the jammy red fruits.

Deep red in colour with a narrow rim. Very distinctive nose of dense black fruit and sous bois; tight and not necessarily that pleasant. Dark cherry on the palate, smooth but with a dirty sous bois undertone. The tannins show gently in the primary palate, all combining to give a very big mouthful! Dried red cherry and chocolate aftertaste and finish. This is a big wine but the fruit is oddly dirty on the palate. One to revisit over time to review and follow. Despite the dirty tone to the fruit, this wine has a good density on the palate. 90/100. 16-Nov-21. Decanted 4 hours.
