From a 20cl bottle. Deep rusted iron in colour, 70% opaque. Sweet and perfumed red toffee apple on the nose. Wonderfully balanced palate, delicious honey and caramelised orange. Lovely clover honey aftertaste and finish with a nice floral perfume. Good structure with a touch of tannin and a very good balance. 89/100. Pop and Pour. Drunk 24-Nov-2021.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
