It took a pandemic and a bunch of stay at home orders to finally get the state side folks in for a tasting but we did it right.
we had the 5 states of WA, NJ, NY, CT, MA represented in this tasting.
We tried a guess the wine format, and were surprisingly fairly successful in vintage guessing. House guessing was another matter entirely!
I hope Sushi can correct me on the bottles but I believe we had thte
1970 Dows
1980 Dows
1980 Gould Campbells
1997 Vesuvio
2015-2017 Grahams Stone Terraces
NV Quady's Starboard
Represented in this virtual with DifferentDave doing a surprise bottle drop off for a 1970 Dows that I was able to try alongside.
Fun time seeing everyone again. We all look the same with the exception of extra facial hair.

1980 Dow
I believe there was also a 2011 stone terraces.
Given that almost all tasters had to taste independently, and without guarantee of tasting note submission, I'd encourage each to post a note for their respective wine, then reply here with the link. Tasting note format is YYYY Housename.
Fun evening, we rambled on together for a good 4 hrs. Port'll do that to yah.

That was a fun night. Always humbling trying to guess what something is....at least we got a few vintage years correct.

There was. I was doing my day 2 notes for the Sammamish Port Club meeting from the night before and had already completed the '17, '16, and '11 Graham's, so was working my way through the '17, '16, '15, and '11 Stone Terraces during the Zoom call.
My notes will be included in Roy's newsletter in a follow-up article to the one I did last year. Spoiler alert: they were all delicious.
