@ Doggett - Ah, I had missed that one [as not on the '2021 physical tastings' planner]. Yes, that takes precedence. Later in the year it is.

Had completely missed this, but have now updated the planner.

winesecretary wrote: 22:00 Wed 15 Apr 2020 *For completeness I should add that there are mentions to be found of several other Terra Feita wines. The Book suggests 1907 and 1911 as tasted by the late, great, Michael Broadbent. vintageport.se suggests there is a 1914 Terra Feita. However, no-one (else) seems to have ever encountered a bottle of them. The stock of 1998 TTF is recorded in The Book (quoting Mayson 2001) as having been destroyed in a natural disaster at the Fonseca lodge in 2001. Taylor's own website mentions that "In the early 1900’s the firm’s relationship with Terra Feita seems to have intensified. The firm started bottling small amounts of Vintage Port drawn exclusively from the Terra Feita vineyards, distant precursors of today’s Quinta de Terra Feita single estate Vintage Ports. A handful of bottles of these early Terra Feita Vintages, starting with 1905 and continuing until the mid-1930’s, can still be found in Taylor’s cellars" A 1925 Terra Feita (bottled by Fonseca Guimaraens) was sold in Amsterdam in June 2020; alas I was the underbidder.
A publication by TFP which arrived with the BFT ports, lists the following additional years for TTF: 1905, 1906, 1907, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1913, 1914, 1918, 1923, 1925, 1931, 1937.

I suggest for this tasting we go ahead with the original 11 - all 24 in one tasting would be hard to cope with ;-)

I have a note in my calendar of future tastings that this tasting was rescheduled to June 10th, 2022.

Did I make this up or was this, perhaps, discussed at one of our dinners and I diligently recorded the relevant facts from the conversation?
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

I think it was rescheduled to 10 June 2021... 10 June is a Friday, which I infer is a non-preferred day of the week for this group. How about 7 or 8 June?

I have independent data on the 1925 per first post - Sylvie's sold a bottle last year.

45 minutes rifling around bookcases, filing cabinets, shelves, on the verge of giving up, then finally discovered.

h/t to the 2014 Chassagne Montrachet Agnes Paquet, that sustained me through the search...

Still good for this, have the declared bottles, and very much hope we are on course for this tasting. Any update on the likelihood of it happening?
