Opened at 19.30 and drunk at 21.30. Remarkably brown tone to the colour of the Port, slightly cloudy. Sweet perfumed nose of gentle golden syrup, quince and mace. Balanced and elegant on entry bringing gently spiced Canadian raisin pie. A little gentle heat on the aftertaste, before a lovely long finish of dried vine fruit. A lovely, elegant and delicious wine. This was Jordan (our wine waiter)'s Port of the night and the group's second favourite with 8½ points. 90/100. Drunk 08-Jul-21 at the George of Stamford with friends.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
