NV Cockburn Crusted 1964

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A deep, rich mature brick red. Lots of sweet cocktail cherry on the nose. The sweet cherry follows onto the palate, dense and very flavoursome. Cherry aftertaste, but infused with gentle cinnamon and a very long finish. A delicious Port. 91/100. Decanted 1 hour. Drunk 11-Mar-21
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
