Is there a 2017 Bioma? If so, has it not been released?

AFAIK the declarations (recent) are:

2015 - Vintage; Bioma
2016 - Bioma
2017 - Vintage

There is a 2017 Bioma but I don’t believe it’s been released yet. I did here it will be a step up in price on previous vintages but let’s see!!

I suppose it was always going to happen. The Bioma / Pisca etc. Ports have been fantastic and not really that expensive for what they are.

Does anyone know when it is likely to be released.
In my view I think the 2011 in particular looks good value

Is there any difference between the Pisca and the Bioma other than the name change from '07 to '08?

I don't think so: wasn't the name change due to a trademark issue?

So update on the Bioma
There is no launch date, the production is very limited and the pricing will reflect that

Hot on the heels of the 2017 winning Best Port Wine of the World, Niepoort have just announced the launch of a Nat Cool Port Nat Trudy Cool - true ruby
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

It’s surprising we haven’t seen any other Ports jump on the natural wine bandwagon since many of them are produced in “natural” ways, to the extent that it is possible to define what that means. E.g. minimal use of pesticides; foot treading; limited or no filtration etc. etc.
We hope the Nat Cool spirit will continue to grow! But remember, here are the NAT COOL RULES:

RULE NUMBER ONE…THERE ARE NO RULES!
ALWAYS RESPECT THE FIRST RULE
LESS IS MORE
COOLER = LESS EXTRACTION, LESS MESS
AUTHENTIC, COOL ATTITUDE
ONE LITER BOTTLE
COOL PRICE
THE INCREDIBLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING
Is “less extraction” something we want in a Ruby Port?!
