Grant of St James’s bottling. Purchased with MSC last year. Capsule not in great condition. Cork broke. Decanted for 6hrs before consumption. Very dark toffee colour. In neck. No seepage. Excellent colour.
Decanted for 3hrs - needed probably double that.
Nose of fig and dates. Very long smell and taste. Tasted very similar, fig, dates, Christmas pudding.
Ready to drink but will hold for another decade. Worth seeking out.

First of 12 from ex Cambridge College cellar.
Decanted for 4 hours (under decanted).
Nose: tobacco, liquorice and some green under ripe fruits.
Taste: elderberry, red fruits, cranberry. Very long.
Good drinking port. Glad to have a case to work through but no more.

An excellent idea and an excellent tasting. I found all wines to be showing rather well. I was high enamoured by the W66 and T63. It felt like the 1966's were beginning to open.
