Alex I last had the Royal oporto 63 twenty five years ago.Bought by my Father at a good wine outlet in Newcastle it was also labelled Quinta das Carvalhas.I thought it was a single Quinta from Royal oporto.They must have used this marketing name in Britain at that time.

I seem to be having my own 60 mini vertical in the last couple of month's. This surprisingly was one of the better 60's I've had.Medium bodied light in colour but not faded on the palate.Still showing good fruit not much start or finish but not in decline,probably an average port in it's hey day but...

Quite enjoyable did not decant long as Derek suggested but finished the bottle in one sitting with friends.I found it dark and fruity.

Drank the same week after the 66 horizontal.Very light weak body reminds me of some 75's especially Cockburns a little. Not much throught on the downward slide

I had beleived this Grahams the capsule reveiled only 1960 but in truth it was cockburns bottled by Harveys A good port strong in body and panache but will not last much longer better than the Grahams that I thought this bottle would be
