Chalk pens are also helpful.

Re: A short goodbye.
I'm very sorry to hear the news of your situation. A port tasting for your end of life party sounds like a very fitting choice for a member of this forum; I hope the tasting goes well, and echo the thoughts of others in wishing you best-possible comfort.

10 years later and Canais have surpassed themselves with their latest label and packaging, particularly a back label with a serious geek's level of information! see here.

2014 Cockburn Canais
I have very much enjoyed previous Canais releases, sometimes preferring them over the main Cockburn vintage port when both were released in the same year (in both 2000 and 2007). I was therefore pleased to see the Cockburn Canais 2014 in Sainsbury with an interesting new label and packaging design -...

Re: Seckford's Delivery Policy
In case you've missed it, possibly worth highlighting Seckford's new delivery policy, where their default position is to not deliver wines in their original cases (OWC or OCC). If you want the original packaging you have to ask for it, but they'll still open the case and transfer the bottles into t...

Slightly cloudy and orange brown in colour; to taste, very sweet, some toffee, good acidity and flavour - very tasty.

Re: 1910 Offley
Burnished orange/yellow in colour; lovely nose. Rich and sweet, lovely oily texture, delicious.
Possibly the only 1910 vintage port I've tasted, and a gem; much thanks to Tony for the chance to try this.

In Streatham, on Telford Avenue, at ///atom.lifts.couches , on the road: https://www.jdawiseman.com/2024/20241112_Roundabout.png Yes, an apostrophe can indicate missing letters. And the word “Roundabout” has been abbreviated by the omission of four letters, all vowels, none of which are where the a...

Re: Port brand abbreviations
Palmer[/url]? Pl or Pm ? Referencing previous comments: Referencing earlier discussion, we have previously only assigned permanent abbreviations for brands which have released vintage ports for ~3 vintages or more; do these meet that criteria? is that criteria still reasonable? Very reasonable. And...

Re: "Port Edition" Durand coming soon - and UK purchase possibility
Any chance these are still available Phil? Or a one off? The Port Version was a limited run manufactured in autumn 2023; I don't know whether they have plans to produce any more. I've been very happy with it; it's only a small amount longer on the worm, though quite a bit longer on the tines, and h...

like to adopt that please. Let’s await instruction from our master about adoption versus £ rebalancing. Four posts up: Atopters and adoptees to agree on adoption in the usual way. Am happy either way (adopt/£) or indeed there is plenty of time before the tasting for me to purchase also if preferred.

Indeed, clearly fake. Thanks for the warning; sadly there have been a few along these lines recently.
