I have found this wine to be better than that (for my taste) in a couple of occasions over tha past year. For less than $100 US, I have found this wine to be very nice, maybe even somwhere in the 92-94 range. Mature now, and for the next ten years.

Plenty of the 94s, 1980s, and even 1970s for me, but thin on the 60s, and almost empty below that. The 34/35 split vintage?...give me a break! It's enough to make a man plan a trip to the UK! I hope to add some 55's soon though.

I will agree that is a nice one.

I have had great luck with NZ Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborogh region, nice, dependable, and dirt cheap. Even the cheapest of these wines has at least some redeeming quality. If it says Marlborough on it I'll pick up a bottle without worrying about it.
